Here is an update to an earlier blog post of mine about a 73-year-old guy who goes back to college to play hoops. To me this is a very inspirational story about setting goals & fulfilling them.

Video plays “after the ad”…

Tina Fey won best actress in a TV comedy and her acceptance speech drew some attention. Her response (directed at the Envelope) “If you ever feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet and there you can find a lot of people who don’t like you, And I would like to address some of them now…You can suck it.” After accepting the award she met backstage with the LA press corp and here is a snippet of that interview:

What if…we stopped looking to the gov’t for help and decided to start believing in ourselves?

Last week I posted a feel good story on a 73 year basketball player who goes back to his original college basketball team to finish out his eligibilty. Here is a video of him working out with the team.

If you ever want to start living and enjoying your life this book has some great ideas. One of my favorite ideas from the book is to “Focus” to create your own lifestyle.

This happened a couple of years ago  but I came across the story in today’s sport’s page as it garnered the young man an ESPY award and I thought with today’s tough times that we are going through you might find some inspiration after viewing it.
